About Chicagoans Who Bike

Chicagoans Who Bike, created by lifelong Chicagoan Viktor Köves, is a photo project about the stories of the people who live and bike in the city of Chicago - musicians getting to gigs, families riding to the park, people commuting to work, and everything in between.

This projects seeks to highlight more than just people who consider biking to be a part of their identity. Chicagoans Who Bike is about everyday people who choose, for any reason, to use a bike to get around.

Although the reasons people choose to get in the saddle (and how they feel about it) vary, people biking around our city often have common joys and fears that are worth exploring and understanding.

We hope this project will offer new perspectives to everyone - those who also bike, and those who don't.
